## Invite a teammate [#invite-a-teammate]

Owners and admins can invite people from **Settings → Members**:

1. Click **Invite**, enter the **Email address** and choose a **Role**: **Member** or **Admin**.
2. Click **Send invitation**. backupd emails them a link to join.

Pending invitations are listed under **Pending invitations**. Invites expire after 7 days. From the **⋯** menu you can **Copy invite link** to share it directly, **Resend email**, or **Revoke invitation**.

## Change a role or remove a member [#change-a-role-or-remove-a-member]

From the **⋯** menu next to a member, choose **Make admin** or **Make member**, or **Remove from workspace**. Only owners can change another owner. You can't change your own role.

## Leave or delete a workspace [#leave-or-delete-a-workspace]

In **Settings → General**, under **Danger zone**:

- Members and admins can **Leave workspace**. You'll need a new invitation to rejoin.
- Owners can't leave a workspace. An owner can **Delete workspace**, which permanently deletes the workspace, its members and pending invitations. Type the workspace name to confirm. This can't be undone.

## Workspace settings [#workspace-settings]

**Settings → General** holds the **Workspace name** and **Workspace URL**. Changing the URL breaks existing links to the workspace.
